An open notebook on attention, technology, and the quiet work of noticing.

Welcome to yet another small corner of the internet. I spend a lot of time browsing the web—collecting digital tools, bits of ephemera, and stray thoughts about our evolving relationship to time, technology, and emerging forms of culture.

I’m far from alone in this, but over the past few months, I’ve felt a growing pull to slow down—and found real pleasure in doing so. I’m trying to make more space for meaningful patterns while staying open to spontaneity, and cultivating practices that are difficult but essential—ones that help keep us intact, both figuratively (as individuals) and literally (in relationships, teams, and communities). Less rote consumption, more intentional iteration. Less urgency, more attunement.

I’ll be using this space as a kind of ambient research log—a place to share my thoughts, track shifts, and stay accountable as I keep an eye on our collective futures. Full disclosure on what to expect: I’ve always identified as a technologist (more speculative than applied), and the rise of artificial intelligence has pulled me deeper into the bleeding edge of consumer tech and the rapidly evolving tools now available to the public.

Generally speaking, I’m optimistic on this front. That said, I’m drifting from the sidelines as incumbents sprint toward market fit, peak utility, and the normalization (somewhere between promising and problematic) of outsourced thought and labor.

I figured now is as good a time as any to move from a historically siloed online experience to one that, at the very least, aims for the wall. Posts here may ebb and flow between short essays, reflections on media, and more subdued signals—but they’ll all stay connected in one way or another.

I hope you’ll come along and maybe share your thoughts, too.
